About:
The National Building Museum, located in Washington, DC celebrates the impact of architecture, engineering, landscape architecture, construction, planning, and design. Through exhibitions, educational programs, and special events, they welcome visitors of all ages to experience stories about the built world and its power to shape our lives, our communities, and our future.
The Problem:
Their old site was hard to update and outdated. They had too many pages and did not have an easy way to manage exhibitions. It was also hard to view the calendar and find their latest news and posts.
The Solution:
I streamlined their site map based on user data, created easy ways for them to manage exhibitions, events, and posts, and redesigned the site to be more visually appealing and easier for users to find information.
